ABOUT OUR COMPANY
Broadway Kids & Company, School of Musical Theatre
and Dance was founded in 2000 by owner and Executive Director Kristin
Burrows. The school was started with the goal of passing on the love of
musical theatre and dance and creating a positive nurturing environment
where young people could explore the arts and build self confidence. Our
school offers a full year round musical theatre curriculum with all
level of classes for ages two through adult. Classes are offered in tap,
jazz, ballet, acting, voice, audition and performance techniques to
students ages preschool through adult.
We have expanded our curriculum to offer Pilates and yoga to teens and
adults. Students are invited to audition for our main stage musicals
held at the Garde Arts Center in New London. Past performance credits
include "42nd St" 2006 "Oklahoma 2005, Bye Bye Birdie 2004, The Music
Man 2003, Annie 2002 & 2001. Other performance opportunities include our
end of year "Cabaret" open to all students, summer workshops and camps.
We will continue to update our classes and programs.
