Broadway Babies I & II - (Ages 2.9-5)
Class curriculum combines Intro to Tap, Ballet. Students also introduced to singing and acting through imaginative theatre games. BB II.. continuing studies in tap and ballet and intro to jazz
Princesses & Fairytales- (2-4 years) Ballet class and creative movement through fairytales. Dance a story...
Pirates & Tales - (3-5) Boys and girls .... Intro to acting and creative movement
Petite Stars (Ages 4-6) 1 hour Musical Theatre class includes Tap, Jazz, Acting & basic singing skills (Ballet may be included in curriculum depending upon class)
Petite Stars 2 (Ages 5-7) 1.5-2 hour Musical Theatre class includes Tap, Jazz, Acting & Singing
Intro to Acting/movement Ages 5-7
1/2 hour - 1 hour class incorporating improvisation, theatre games and movement.
Theatre Jazz (Beginner through advanced- Ages 7 & Up)
A 1 hour class with an emphasis musical theatre style Jazz. Students will learn various jazz techniques and Broadway choreography (This class is a requirement to perform in our musicals)
Kids Bop - (Ages 4-5) A fun class for the very beginner jazz/ hip hop dancer (45 minute class) *Will incorporate some basic tumbling for dancers.
Kids Bop 2 (Ages 6-10) Learn “Hip Hop” style dance while listening to the latest hip tunes and some of your favorites.. Hannah Montana and more...
Hip Hop Ages 11 - Adult
Learn the latest "hip hop" styles while listening to your favorite hip tunes ... a fun and energizing Class!
Tap (Beginner-Adv)
A 1 hour class that focuses on the fundamentals of tap. The curriculum includes the Al Gilbert tap technique and broadway choreography.
Tap & Burn Adult & Teen
A fun way to learn some basic Tap steps while exercising!
Ballet
A 1 hour class with training in classical ballet technique. This is important for application for other dance techniques.
*Acting
A 1 hour class that focuses on acting thru Improvisation and scene study and monologues. Students will learn all areas of stagecraft including stage direction & theatre terminology and how to audition. This class is a requirement to perform in our musicals.
*Vocal Coaching Covered in musical theatre classes
Training in the proper breathing , interpretation, phrasing, diction, and style of songs.
Private Voice - One on One voice instruction 10+ (or at discretion of teacher/director)
Advanced training in vocal techniques and vocal repertoire.
Playwriting
Introduction into creative writing through fun exercises.
Dance w/Me (18 mos-2 years)
Caregiver and student explore dance and music through creative movement.
We also offer Pilates & Yoga Fit Morning and afternoon classes. Call for schedule info.
Kids Yoga- New Class!! Thurs 3:30-4:30 .. Call for availability!
Class placement is determined by teacher and director. Please call for recommendations.
Our Programs:
"Recreational Program" - 1-2 hours of classes per week. Students audition and can participate in musicals as part of ensemble and end of year showcase.
"Young Professionals Program" - 3 or more hours of dance/acting/voice per week. Students can audition for major role in our productions and or audition for dance team and attend master classes & workshops.
We can design a curriculum for you!
Children who are enrolled in the program may look forward to the complete Musical Theater experience. Including some of the following:
- Group trips to see professional musicals
- Auditions and audition techniques
- How to create a theatre resume & write a biography
- Rehearsal time with professional choreographers
- Stagecraft: makeup, lighting, sound, set design & theatre terminology
- Professional venue stage performance opportunity with professional lighting and sound technicians.
- Master classes with industries professional teachers and performers
- Invitation to select students to "The Rockette Experience" in NYC , take a master class with the Rockettes in their rehearsal hall and a tour of radio city
- Broadway Kids and Company is constantly updating and expanding its curriculum in an effort to bring our students the most complete musical theater program available.
